SSR-400 Desktop Thread Positioning Robot

SSR-400 is a high-precision desktop thread positioning robot that combines the 3-axis robot with a pneumatic locker. The system featured its neat and space-saving design.

Features and benefits

  • The nut head is tailored to fit the size of the nut. Each nut has its corresponding nut head, which can be adjusted to meet customer requirements. If there is a need to replace the nut later, simply reorder the nut head.
  • The nut vibration plate is tailored to fit each specific nut size, with a corresponding plate for each nut. The factory has a single set of these vibration plates, which can be adjusted to meet the requirements of individual customers. Should there be a need to replace the nut in the future, a new vibration plate will need to be ordered.
  • The fixture for positioning the support base is tailored to fit the specific structure of the customer’s product and can be adjusted to accommodate different product sizes. It is possible to design a single mold with multiple holes that fall within the equipment’s working range. The fixture can be customized based on customer needs, or it can be personalized independently.

The work surface of the equipment is made of steel plate, while the body is constructed of sheet metal and painted in gray, white, and blue. The machine head is equipped with a vibration plate that must be compatible with the nut model, and it can be customized according to the customer’s nut specifications. The customer’s copper nut should have a diameter tolerance of 0.05mm, a height tolerance of 0.05mm, and an effective stroke dimension (XxYxZ) that can be adjusted based on the customer’s product requirements.


  • Upon receiving the equipment, secure the vibration plate and jig onto the machine table and power it up.
  • Position the product in the base fixture and use the handwheel with a human-machine interface to 2 program the trajectory for implanting nuts.
  • Once programmed and tested, put the nut machine into regular operation.
  • Place each product into the fixture, then initiate automatic nut implantation by pressing start.
  • Once all nuts are implanted in a product piece, remove it from the fixture, insert a new product, and press start again to continue.
