PUT5701 – Two-part Polyurethane Sealant for Enclosure

PUT5701 is a type of FIPFG (Formed In Place Foam Gaskets) that addresses the need for effective sealing and precise fitting of components. It is composed of two components: an A-component (polyol) with different molecular chain lengths for creating soft and hard foams, and a B-component (MDI) acting as a hardener. When these components are mixed and cured, they form a soft foam seal that solidifies at room temperature, eliminating the need for a tempering furnace.

Features and benefits

  • Fully automatic, process-safe, flexible
  • Fast, economical, and efficient
  • Low personnel expenses due to a high degree of automation
  • Short production cycles and high production speeds
  • Reproducible quality of seamless, contour-accurate foam seals
  • Fast invisible self-leveling coupling point
  • Free application process – no forming tools required as with 2K injection molding
  • A cost-effective alternative, especially for complex component geometries.
