aGTF Tip Height Calibration

The accuracy of the dispensing outcome primarily hinges on the precise positioning of the needle tip at the center. To account for variances, it is essential to document any discrepancies following each needle replacement.

The Tip Height Calibration system is an automated sensor to ensure the dispensing needle is properly aligned. A mechanical sensor alongside two forked photoelectric sensors detects misalignments in the length and deflection of the metering needle, and adjustments are made automatically through the software.

A dispensing macro facilitates the programming of this sensor, and an example macro is provided with the package.
